Our phone service is guaranteed not to go below the minimum amount needed to operate Inmate Services & Programs. Phone rates have been reduced for inmate’s families and friends… Jail staff are pleased with the phone system’s reliability. When staff have contacted PCS, maintenance issues are resolved in a prompt an efficient manner. Criminal investigators, jail classification staff and administrators are pleased with the system’s ability to monitor and record inmate phone calls. This feature has assisted in criminal investigation and inmate management.”

“Mr. Chad Strong, our site administrator provided by PCS, has been named as the Douglas County Department of Corrections Employee of the Year for 2004. He has been instrumental in reducing the number of fraudulent inmate telephone calls. He has spent hours researching inmate calling patterns and keeps staff well informed of his findings. Mr. Strong continues to be a positive influence on the Department of Corrections.”

“PCS has been our inmate telephone service provider since April 2001 and has provided excellent services to our facilities and the Department of Corrections. The inmate telephone system was a particularly challenging undertaking as we converted from a traditional "collect only" service to a fully integrated "debit only" system. This required full interface of our Human Resources Department, commissary, banking and the Department of Corrections databases. An additional complication was our desire to have debit services to the families of inmates across the State of Iowa with remote access allowing each family to manage their own account. In each of these cases PCS accomplished each task with timeliness and professionalism creating a system that has operated without hesitation or failure in all aspects since installation."
