PCS is Protecting Your Account Information!

What is CPNI?

CPNI stands for Customer Proprietary Network Information and includes information associated with your PCS phone account, regardless of whether you are a collect calling or Daily DialTM prepaid customer. CPNI includes information associated with a specific call, such as the time and duration of the call. Under Federal Communications Commission rules, we are required to protect the confidentiality of your PCS account information.

How does PCS protect my account information?

PCS takes the security of your call data seriously. We have taken several measures to prevent unauthorized access to your account information. PCS will not share any of your account information with other companies for marketing purposes. Also, all access to your specific account information will be protected by a PIN/password of your choice.

How can I set up my PIN?

Existing Customers: If you are an existing PCS customer, PCS will need to verify that you are the account holder before allowing you to set up your PIN. This verification process will require PCS to call you back at the phone number associated with your account. You will then be prompted to set up your 4-digit numeric PIN. To set up a PIN with the help of a live Customer Care Representative, please call 888.288.9879. To set up a PIN via our Automated PIN Setup Process, please call 888.847.3206.

New Customers: New customers will be prompted to set up a 4-digit PIN during the prepaid account setup process. To set up a PIN with the assistance of a live Customer Care representative, please call 888.288.9879. To set up a PIN using our Automated PIN Setup Feature, please call 888.847.3206.

Why do I need to set up a PIN?

Your PIN will be required to access your account information moving forward. This is for the protection and security of your call data.

I do not currently have a PIN. How can I set up a PIN to begin accessing my account information?

To set up a PIN with the assistance of a live Customer Care Representative, please call 888.288.9879. To set up a PIN using our Automated PIN Setup Feature please call 888.847.3206.

Will the PIN be required to receive inmate calls?

No. The PIN is only required when you call PCS to recharge or access your prepaid account, or need collect call help.
